Hi, yes there are a stack of people on this forum that do bodybuilding and also PT's who coach it and do it. Are you male or female, give us some stats.

Hi mate, welcome to the forums.

In terms of how much money and time bodybuilding will take, the simple answer is whatever you can afford! The more you give it, the better your results will be.

Expenses are pretty simple really, particularly when you're just starting out. There's the gym fee, and the food bill. We eat twice as much meat as most people, and you'll probably want to buy a protein powder. But then you're not eating as much junk food, so there's a saving there.

As for time, you should probably allow four or five 1-hour sessions a week for training, plus cardio if you need.

It's quite a commitment, but the satisfaction from your progress is huge.

Unfortunately I had injury so I was unable to train for 5 months and have just been eating junk food but I have been going to the gym now for about 2 months and eating junk food so just wanna know some tips to get started. Thnx

I think you already know the answer to that one, cut the junk food, exercise and weight train and add plenty of protein and sleep to the mix.

Is $72 enough money to work with each week? What type of foods should I buy. How many meals should I have a day etc. Thanks
