I have a rough idea but dont bother counting grams etc in saying that i have been on my current diet for some time and would only have a count up if i changed it dramatically and even then it would only be for interest sake

yeah same here guys..i know its more than 300.. i think 350??does vary tho

edit: so its around 1.8 for my BW

wouldn't be anything over 1.5 on a big day, probably closer to 1 gram usually

appears we are all much the same, don't keep track.
It would be of interest if you weren't making progress.
However most on here know how to eat properly so would fall in to the roughly right ratio I would imagine

Yep, don't keep track when I'm putting on weight. I'm around 1.5gr/lb from animal products, meat, shakes etc... Don't know about the rest so I'm probably a little over for what it's worth.

I think quality over quantity and quantity of quality should never been an issue if you are serious.

I think anyone starting out bodybuilding should note this but once you are fairly big you body can utilise a higher protein diet than the 2g/kg/day considered safe for novice lifters. Considering most people consume about .8g/kg/day an increase even to 1.5g/kg/day should be sufficient for a novice lifter to see decent newbie gains. IMO of that average .8g/kg/day a decent % might be from vegetable proteins so going over 2g/kg/day might still be considered safe for new lifter.

Is any one on here ever had problems from excessive protein intake?
