Sorry for riffing on you mate, thing is you'll see a lot of guys that are gym lifters quoting numbers that sound a bit out of kilter and it's not because you're lying, just that sometimes the form isn't up to par for powerlifting standards.

Almost always when you see a guy claiming an outrageous squat but an average deadlift and there's no powerlifting equipment involved it's a good bet that the squat isn't to legal depth. Same goes for the bench, which is the most abused gym-lift.

Not saying you aren't strong, or that you're lying, but that's why people have been ribbing you.

:pfft: Would also explain the bench.
The deadlift is functional in that it’s very hard to imagine a more useful application of strength than picking heavy shit up off the ground.

ok.

3 kilos of prime beef

Although i have to say at this point im wondering how i can lose. The scenarios are:

1. He posts a vid of him benching 140 (i win)
2. He posts a vid of him failing 140 (unlikely someone would post this - you win)
3. He doesnt post a vid (noone wins)
4. He confesses to making it up (unlikely someone would post this - you win)
